Attention Hall Park residents and visitors: prepare for some detours this Saturday morning as the community comes together for a spirited parade. According to the City of Frisco's official announcement, a slew of roads will be off-limits to cars from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to make way for the festivities - meaning if you're driving around Hall Park, you'll need to rethink your usual routes.
Early birds take note, starting from 7:30 a.m. on the day of the parade, Network Blvd. and a significant stretch of Internet Blvd. are being closed down; that's a no-go for anyone trying to access the Hall Park buildings south of Kaleidoscope Park nestled between Internet Blvd. and Gaylord Pkwy. For those aiming for the Hall Park Hotel, the detour will have you skirting around to Warren Parkway, then south on Internet Boulevard to hit the parking garage and valet spots. Dedicated parade parking is situated in lots on the west side of Internet Blvd. or on the east side of Gaylord Pkwy., with access from both directions of Gaylord Pkwy after the road closures come into effect.
Now, if you've got your sights set on securing a prime spot to watch the parade, pedestrian pathways will guide you to viewing areas along the now car-free section of Internet Blvd. The procession itself rolls out at 10 a.m., winding down and reopening roads at 12:30 p.m., so plan your day and commuting strategy accordingly. If you're driving, the advice? Look ahead, scout alternative routes, or even better, just leave the car at home. For those inclined to use the Waze app, it's being recommended as your co-pilot to navigate the day's roadblocks.
