
On a routine traffic stop earlier this month, deputies in Harris County, Texas, made a drug-related arrest that has grabbed local headlines. According to Precinct 4 Constable's Office Facebook page, the incident took place on October 23, when a deputy from Constable Mark Herman’s Special Operations Unit pulled over a vehicle on FM 1960, near the 4800 block.
The driver, identified as Nakeitha Patterson, initially stopped for an unidentified traffic violation found the deputy conducting a search, which allegedly turned up Hydrocodone pills, these pills wrapped in a napkin were discovered hidden under the seat, an outcome leading to Patterson's arrest. Constable Mark Herman's office quickly publicized the event and the charges Patterson now faces.
Following the stop, Patterson was charged with possession of a controlled substance. "Nakeitha Patterson was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance," reported the Constable’s office. Her situation becomes more tangled as the legal process unfolds – Patterson's bond was set at $2,000.00 out of the 488th District Court, aiming to ensure her appearance in court for the alleged offence.
