
Michigan's commercial and tribal online gambling operators reported record October revenue of $352.3 million from internet gaming and sports betting, a 16.4% increase from September. iGaming led with $278.5 million in gross receipts, while sports betting reached $73.8 million, up from $43.6 million the prior month, according to the Michigan Gaming Control Board.
Adjusted gross receipts totaled $310.9 million, with iGaming contributing $261.7 million and sports betting $49.2 million, reflecting a 31.8% and $39.4 million year-over-year increase, respectively. Internet sports betting handle rose to $605.9 million, and operators paid $58.0 million in state taxes, including $54.6 million from iGaming and $3.4 million from sports betting, as reported by the Michigan Gaming Control Board.
Detroit’s three commercial casinos paid $15 million in taxes and fees to the city, with $14 million from iGaming and $1 million from internet sports betting. Tribal operators contributed $6.5 million to their governing bodies. Michigan has 15 licensed commercial and tribal operators, 14 offering iGaming and 11 offering internet sports betting.
