
Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley has been recognized for his efforts towards fostering economic empowerment and stability in his community. As reported by the Milwaukee County Executive's Office, Crowley received the New Lives Individual IMPACT Award from Goodwill Greater Milwaukee and Chicago, highlighting his work in creating opportunities for Milwaukee County residents.
At the award ceremony, Green Bay Packers icon Donald Driver presented the award to Crowley, who spoke about the significance of providing platforms for success in Milwaukee County. "Growing up in Milwaukee County, I saw how transformational it can be when people are given an opportunity to thrive," County Executive Crowley said in a statement obtained by the Milwaukee County Executive's Office. "I am honored to receive this recognition, and I accept it with a renewed commitment to keep moving forward. Let's continue working together to build a Milwaukee County where every resident can reach their full potential and succeed."
Goodwill honored Crowley for his work since taking office in 2020. During his tenure, he has launched initiatives focused on supporting families and neighborhoods, increasing access to job training and career development, and expanding community-based services in areas such as workforce development and behavioral health.
