The National Weather Service in Milwaukee has released detailed forecast data for the upcoming days, keeping residents abreast of what to expect weather-wise. The current condition is described as partly cloudy with temperature readings hovering around 39°F and humidity at a high of 79%. According to the NWS advisory, today's high is anticipated to reach near 47°F with a northwest wind traveling at a gentle pace of 5 to 10 mph.
As the night approaches, skies are expected to transition from mostly cloudy to mostly clear with lows around 30°F. The same northwest wind is to persist, albeit at a slightly subdued rate of around 5 mph. The forecast for Saturday promises ample sunshine with temperatures inching towards a pleasing 49°F. At the same time, the accompanying southwest winds maintain a light touch, picking up speed from 5 to 10 mph in the morning hours.
Moving into Saturday night, there will be a minor shift in climate as conditions turn partly cloudy, yet temperatures will remain fairly consistent with lows circling 38°F. The west wind is set to persist through the evening at a speed of about 10 mph. Sunday's forecast further elevates the optimism with clear, sunny skies and highs reaching about 53°F, while the west wind remains steady at 5 to 10 mph, according to the NWS.
However, a change is on the horizon as we step into Monday, with clouds beginning to crowd the skies. There's a 30% chance of rain post-noon and potential for the high temperatures to press towards 54°F. The soft south wind will blow at 5 to 10 mph, shifting the atmosphere gradually. Rain becomes inevitable by Monday night, with a 90% chance of precipitation and expected rainfall amounts ranging between a quarter and half an inch. The pattern of rain is likely to last well into Tuesday, particularly before noon, with a 60% probability and high temperatures hovering close to 54°F once more.
According to the NWS, Wisconsinites can expect the week to continue with similar wet intrusions as Tuesday night holds a 40% chance of rain, mainly before midnight, and a dip in temperature to a low around 33°F. The likelihood of raindrops will decrease by midweek, but the possibility hangs in the air with a 20% chance both on Wednesday and through the night, straddling a high near 40°F and a concerning low around 24°F. As for Thanksgiving Day, families may be relieved to hear that the skies will be partly sunny despite the chill, as the mercury is predicted to peak at a brisk 35°F.
