According to AP News, Jaguars coach Liam Coen extolled Lawrence's performance, stating, "Obviously the frustrating interception down on the goal line, but man I’m very proud of the way he responded, the way that he played, especially later on when the game really was on the line."
Despite their defeat, the Raiders saw a notable performance from tight end Brock Bowers, who made his impact felt with three touchdowns and 127 yards on 12 catches. Bowers, who has been sidelined due to a knee injury, expressed his displeasure at not being able to play recently, telling AP News, "Mentally, it hurt not playing," and "I wanted to be out there so bad.
