Lianu Luis Brown Delgado, a resident of Rosedale, has been arraigned on weapons charges and could face up to 15 years in prison. According to the Queens District Attorney’s office, authorities discovered a stockpile of "ghost guns" and ammunition at Delgado’s home following a seven-month investigation conducted by the DA’s Crime Strategies & Intelligence Bureau and the NYPD Major Case Field Intelligence Team. The investigation focused on the acquisition of unserialized firearm components and manufacturing tools.

Delgado, 22, faces a 51-count criminal complaint, and authorities reported that his arsenal included two assault weapons. The Queens DA’s office stated that some of the firearms were 3D-printed at his residence. DA Melinda Katz commented on the case, stating, "Those who choose to personally manufacture deadly firearms should find other, lawful ways to spend their time." Delgado is scheduled to appear in court on November 10.

During the raid at Delgado’s home on Edgewood Street, authorities recovered a range of weapons and related materials. The charges indicate that the items included seven completed ghost guns, nine additional frames, two high-capacity magazines, more than 100 rounds of ammunition, and one 3D printer. A database check showed that Delgado did not hold any firearm licenses in New York City. Since August 2021, the DA’s Crime Strategies & Intelligence Bureau has reported seizing over 460 firearms, including 303 ghost guns, along with a substantial amount of ammunition and high-capacity magazines.

Assistant District Attorney Attaul Haq is leading the prosecution, with support from a team of intelligence analysts. The multi-agency effort included members of the Kings County District Attorney's Gun Violence Suppression Bureau, the New York State Police, and the United States Postal Inspectors.

Queens has recorded the most ghost gun recoveries in New York City for four consecutive years. The Queens DA’s office emphasized the need for laws and enforcement to address unregistered firearms.
