Upper Chichester residents are grappling with a string of car break-ins that took place in the Meetinghouse Park Apartments neighborhood, as reported by Action News. Early on Sunday, November 16, police say multiple vehicles were hit along Meetinghouse Road and Bridge Road, some suffering smashed windows that were cleaned up before Monday.

Caught on camera, suspects are seen pulling on vehicle handles, their identities hidden in the dark of night, one donned in a red hoodie and another visible in a black outfit with a white undershirt. Despite the clear footage obtained by residents, the thieves remain at large, a fact lamented by Randy Gregory, who thankfully had his car passed over during the spree as described in a FOX 29 interview. "Stay out of my car, stay out of people’s cars, get a job," Gregory implored, having previously had to replace a vehicle tarnished by vandalism.

One victim, Joshua Wesley, returned home to find his vehicle rifled through, yet his valuable electronics were untouched, a stroke of fortune amidst the chaos - a detail shared by Action News. Others have not been as lucky, with belongings strewn and stolen, a common scene across the surveillance videos that have captured these brazen acts.

Police have urged the public to assist in identifying the suspects, hoping that someone will recognize those responsible for flouting the peace of this community. Pulling together camera footage, residents look out for one another, sharing it with authorities in pursuit of justice. Management, responding to the incidents, issued a letter that was stern in its directive to residents, urging the locking of doors and removal of valuables, as observed by NBC Philadelphia.

If anyone has information that could lead to the identification of these perpetrators or possesses additional video footage, Detective Keith of Upper Chichester Police can be reached at 610-485-8400 extension 453.
