The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), alongside U.S. Border Patrol and their Mexican law enforcement counterparts, have announced new targets for their "Se Busca Información" initiative. A press briefing held at Amistad Dam on December 16 unveiled the latest effort to capture dangerous wanted criminals operating on both sides of the border. The initiative translates to "information wanted" in English, inviting anonymous tips about nefarious individuals who may pose a threat.

Those with valuable information can discreetly relay their findings through WhatsApp or by dialing 830-313-4557, a line that is available around the clock. The calls are directed to the Border Patrol’s Del Rio Sector call center where, information is then disseminated to relevant law enforcement on both sides of the border. The program's bilingual approach caters to community members in both nations, aiming to bolster the collective safety and security of the region.

With the program in full swing, images of the 10 wanted individuals now adorn posters, flyers, and billboards strategically placed to capture public attention. From the bustling city streets of Mexico to the Border Patrol stations and immigration checkpoints in the United States, these visual cues serve as constant reminders of the ongoing search for justice. International ports of entry within the Del Rio Sector are also host to these indictments in picture form, ensuring a wide cast net.

According to CBP's recent release, the "Se Busca Información" initiative is a testament to the cooperative spirit between the United States and Mexico, highlighting that it is in the best interest for both countries to promote a safer, more secure shared border.
