In a recent attempt to clean up the streets, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office made a notable drug bust during a routine traffic stop. On Monday, a vehicle was pulled over in the 700 block of N Sam Houston Parkway E., with the driver identified as Steve James Krol. An open container of alcohol was the initial cause for concern, but the stop quickly escalated when deputies discovered that Krol had Methamphetamine.
Following the discovery, "Steven James Krol was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance," according to a post by Harris County Constable Precinct 4. His bond was set at $7,500 out of the 487th District Court. This arrest marks another effort by local law enforcement to deter drug-related activities and promote community safety.
