
A white Freightliner semi-truck rolled over on southbound I-15 near Jean, Nevada, at 10:58 a.m. at mile marker 10, closing two lanes, KTNV reports. The truck hit the center median concrete barrier.
Cleanup from the semi-truck rollover lasted over 12 hours, with traffic redirected to the highway shoulder, 8NewsNow reports. Lanes one and two were closed, leaving only lane three open southbound.
The driver of the Freightliner was promptly transported to a local hospital due to injuries sustained in the collision. "The driver of the semi truck was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries sustained in the crash," confirmed the Nevada State Police in a statement obtained by News3LV.
The Nevada Highway Patrol responded to the semi-truck rollover, causing significant traffic delays. Motorists on southbound I-15 near mile marker 10 were advised to use alternate routes.
