
An out-of-state fugitive has barricaded themselves in an east Las Vegas neighborhood, leading to a significant law enforcement response. News 3 LV reported that the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department discovered the individual around 8:30 a.m. on Friday in the 2000 block of Palm Street, near Fremont Street and Mojave Road.
A person, whose identity has not been released, refused to leave a residence, prompting a SWAT team and crisis negotiators to respond. The standoff has lasted over four hours, and police advise the public to avoid the area.
