Hope City Houston is opening its first permanent location at a renovated office building at 5300 W. Sam Houston Parkway after using temporary facilities for over a decade. The grand opening has services at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., with additional services on Sunday at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., and 1 p.m. The building includes a sanctuary, classrooms, offices, and community spaces. Pastors Daniel and Jackie Groves said, "This new building will enable us to tell more people about Jesus and better serve our community," as reported by KHOU.
Church representatives cited the benefits of repurposing an existing building, noting its cost-effectiveness and environmental advantages, while aiming to meet the growing needs of their congregation. The new campus is expected to increase local activity and support nearby businesses amid declining office occupancy rates.
Future plans include expanding youth services, counseling, and outreach programs, with a programming schedule for the upcoming year soon to be released, as per Houston. The church also announced a second phase of renovations to improve parking, accessibility, and event facilities, emphasizing its role as both a place of worship and a community hub.
