Lopez's career is marked by her service in the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program and the Truckee Public Health Clinic. Ensuring families receive available support, she has been working with the Healthy Babies Home Visiting program for 13 years. "She has been a superior partner to the Healthy Babies Home Visiting program for 13 years, ensuring families receive all available supports," according to Nevada County. Moreover, her bilingual services and telehealth initiatives have been lauded as she makes residents feel valued, evidenced by her colleagues describing her as a rockstar in WIC.
Continuing to be a beacon of support, Lopez's influence has been strongly felt at the Truckee Reproductive Health Clinic.
