A woman with ties to San Antonio is now facing charges for a bizarre crime that happened several states away. 33-year-old Camille Benson has been arrested and charged with mayhem after customers found razor blades in bread at two Walmart locations in Biloxi, Mississippi. According to FOX San Antonio, police arrested Benson on Tuesday following reports of the alarming discoveries which began surfacing on Dec. 5.

This is not the first time Benson has been in trouble with the law; she has been arrested several times in Bexar County, with charges ranging from narcotics to prostitution. It has been confirmed by KSAT that she still maintains a San Antonio address for voter registration, holds a Texas driver's license and is associated with several local addresses. When KSAT tried to directly reach out, the number linked to Benson rang and led to voicemail.

The Biloxi incidents have spurred local police to issue a public safety warning, urging anyone who bought bread from the affected stores to thoroughly inspect their purchases. The two affected Walmarts are a Supercenter and a Neighborhood Market. Biloxi Police became aware of the matter when alerted on Monday following a third customer complaint, leading to an immediate removal of tampered products from the store shelves. Walmart employees, according to the police, discovered additional compromised loaves upon inspection.

"The health and safety of our customers is always a top priority," Walmart voiced to the Associated Press. The company has cooperatively worked to fully remove and scrutinize all potentially affected products in the Biloxi locations. They extend appreciation towards law enforcement for their swift actions and pledged continued support in the investigation. Per last updates from the Biloxi Police Department, they don't seem to suspect that any other stores have been subject to similar tampering.

Currently, it's unclear whether Benson has obtained legal representation as she faces the Mayhem charge. Harrison County Jail records provided by KSAT do not list an attorney for her. Her bond has been set at $100,000.
