Early morning, two men found themselves behind bars after Anne Arundel County police disrupted an alleged attempted theft at an Infiniti dealership in Annapolis. The incident unfolded on the 100 block of Ferguson Road, around 4:05 a.m., when officers responded to a call regarding individuals meddling with vehicles, specifically engaged in removing tires. This scene was described by Fox Baltimore, who noted that upon the presence of police, the pair bolted into the concealing embrace of nearby woods.

In a coordinated effort that featured extra patrol units and a drone team, the suspects were located hiding in the woods, facilitated by the vigilant eye of the deployed drone. The Bay Net reported that the pair was apprehended without further incident, ending the early morning chase.

Authorities identified the individuals as Domonick Malikye Murphy, a 23-year-old Baltimore resident, and Devon Vincent Harris, equally aged, hailing from Washington, D.C. Murphy faces charges including rogue and vagabond and trespassing on private property, with court records cited by The Bay Net indicating his bond is set at $5,000. A bail review was scheduled for tomorrow in Glen Burnie, with a trial date on Jan. 9.

Harris was caught up in the same allegations, daubed with the same misdemeanor charges of rogue and vagabond, and trespassing. Released on his own recognizance, he too looks ahead to a day in court, slated for a Feb. 19 hearing in Glen Burnie. The ordeal, as per reports by Fox Baltimore, left no one injured, and the investigation continues its march forward.
