"Our community has been shaken by tragedies this week, with the apparent murder of Thomas “Tommy” Stewart in his home in the 1400 block of Jiroch Street on Monday and then Saturday a mass shooting event in a home in the 600 block of Jackson Ave.," Johnson said, per WOODTV. He concluded his statement with a call for unity and support for "the victims, their families, our neighbors, and all the first responders and medical professionals," emphasizing a community-driven approach to healing and justice.
