Investigators in Aberdeen continue to appeal to the public to help locate seven adorable puppies stolen from a residence last November. As reported by Fox Baltimore, the mix of Shih Tzu and Yorkie breeds was taken from a home on the 100 block of North Post Rd on Nov. 15. The suspect, 28-year-old Kahili Hines of Baltimore, is in custody; however, the whereabouts of the furry victims remain unknown. Hines, who was nabbed on Dec. 16, was alleged to have sold the puppies at Arundel Mills Mall, where he paraded them in a wagon. This claim has not been substantiated by law enforcement.

A deeper look into Hines's background reveals a string of past convictions, including assault, drug, and theft charges. Meanwhile, the police department's top priority is to reunite the puppies with their rightful owner. To efficiently achieve this goal, authorities are calling on anyone who may unwittingly purchase a stolen pup to step forward. According to WMAR 2 News, the puppies likely found their new homes between November and December of last year. Aberdeen police have reassured these new owners that they won't be forced to lose their new companions despite the ongoing investigation.
