The City of Euclid is calling for increased community engagement as it moves forward with plans to spruce up the neighborhood's welcome signage. In an effort to infuse local identity into the city's portals, Euclid officials are reaching out to residents for suggestions and insights that could inform the design process of new signs at the corner of Euclid Avenue and Upper Valley Drive. According to a social media post by the Euclid Ohio, the intent is to create signage that not only welcomes visitors but also resonates with the pride of the residents.
Euclid's administration is emphasizing the importance of residents' voices in this creative venture. "This isn’t just about signs—it’s about expressing who we are as a community," said the Euclid Ohio in a statement obtained by their social media team. The city is aiming to make sure the signs do accurately represent the spirit and identity of the area. Residents who have previously engaged in public meetings and surveys, as well as newcomers to the conversation, are encouraged to contribute their perspectives through a new follow-up survey.
The city's outreach stems from a series of civic engagements, including public meetings held on August 28, 2025, and January 8, 2026 and an initial survey deployed in September 2025. This sustained effort to draw in community sentiment has been a cornerstone of the city's approach to neighborhood development. In their ongoing commitment to collaborative city improvement, the fresh call for feedback aims to bring a wider array of voices into the fold.
