Chaos briefly reigned over the 16800 block of West Lake Houston Parkway when deputies were dispatched to a disturbance on Tuesday, with reports coming in about an individual who had allegedly locked a resident out of her apartment. This suspect, identified as Joshua Musick, was discovered to not only have interfered with the rightful resident but also to be carrying the weight of multiple active warrants for serious offences - including Harassment, Terroristic Threat, and Aggravated Family Assault, originating from Harris County.
The situation quickly escalated as it became clear that Musick's presence harbored not just a singular act of disruption but also the shadows of past misdeeds. According to a Facebook post from Harris County Constable Precinct 4, the deputies were able to swiftly apprehend Musick amidst the disorder. "Joshua Musick was taken into custody and arrested on the outstanding warrants and charged with Interfering with Public Duties," the post stated, a clear signal that his time to evade the long arm of the law had run its due course.
As of the time of the publication, details regarding Musick's bond and court appearances were yet to be firmly set. The public, meanwhile, is kept in the loop on these and other incidents by following the Constable's office across various social media platforms, such as Facebook and Instagram, as well as by downloading their designated mobile app, “C4 NOW.”
Community safety and transparent communication remain central to the mission of Harris County Constable Precinct 4, which continues to provide timely updates on crime activity, arrests, safety advisories, and traffic incidents. The recent case underscores the agency’s commitment to addressing even seemingly minor disturbances that can later reveal deeper criminal concerns requiring decisive action. Officials emphasized that no infraction is too small to ignore and no warrant is too old to enforce.
