The collision occurred on December 7, around 5:45 a.m., when a gray sedan struck a 44-year-old man walking on Woodley Avenue near the intersection with Sherman Way and subsequently fled the scene.
The LAPD has released video footage of the collision on their YouTube page in the hopes that witnesses might come forward. The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, sustained injuries necessitating hospitalization, and there is now a reward of up to $25,000 for any information that leads to the apprehension of the driver.
