
On Sunday, a Southwest Side home argument left a 52-year-old man hospitalized after police say a woman slashed him in the chest with a kitchen knife. She was taken into custody in connection with the attack.
Police: Living-Room Fight Spills Into Violent Knife Attack
The confrontation broke out just before 10:30 a.m. at a home off South General McMullen Drive near Billy Mitchell Boulevard, according to News 4 San Antonio. Investigators say the man and the woman were arguing when she grabbed a kitchen knife and cut him several times in the chest area.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment. Police detained the woman at the scene, and she is expected to be charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
