Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has launched an investigation into alleged unlawful financial incentives connected to childhood vaccine recommendations, targeting medical providers, insurers, and pharmaceutical companies. Over 20 Civil Investigative Demands have been issued to major industry players, including UnitedHealthcare and Pfizer, raising concerns about profit-driven influences on pediatric care in Texas, according to the Office of the Texas Attorney General.
Paxton expressed his commitment to protecting medical objectivity, stating, "I will ensure that Big Pharma and Big Insurance don’t bribe medical providers to pressure parents to jab their kids with vaccines they feel aren’t safe or necessary." The probe focuses on potential practices that could lead to children being denied care or removed from pediatric practices based on vaccination status, as reported by the Office of the Texas Attorney General.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced an investigation into pediatric healthcare and vaccination programs. "Alongside President Trump and Secretary Kennedy's significant efforts to ensure safety when it comes to childhood vaccines, my office will fight to protect kids' health and uphold transparency in the medical industry," Paxton said. The investigation could affect healthcare policies and vaccination practices nationwide. Some medical professionals support vaccines and their safety. Paxton added, "Together, we will Make America Healthy Again," emphasizing health and transparency in the medical system, as stated by the Office of the Texas Attorney General.
