A tragic event unfolded on a quiet Florida street when three men, including two from Ohio, were fatally shot outside a Kissimmee rental home. According to WBNS, the deceased were identified as brothers Douglas Kraft, aged 68, of Columbus, and Robert Kraft, aged 69, of Holland, Michigan, with the third victim, James Puchan, a 68-year-old friend from Ohio, being identified later.
The Osceola County Sheriff's Office responded Saturday afternoon to a report of shots fired on Indian Point Circle. Upon arrival, deputies discovered the bodies of the victims with apparent gunshot wounds. The suspect, 29-year-old Ahmad Bojeh, was subsequently detained and has now been charged with three counts of murder, as detailed by WHIO. At his first court appearance, Bojeh was denied bond.
The ordeal was described as "horrific and senseless" by Osceola County Sheriff Christopher Blackmon, who highlighted the seemingly random nature of the violence. "It was cold-blooded, it was premeditated, there was absolutely no issues," Blackmon said. "This was just random. And this happened to be the person who lived next door," according to a report by FOX News. The three victims had their stay at the rental home involuntarily extended due to vehicle trouble and were waiting for service.
The suspect, Ahmad Jihad Bojeh, is not unknown to local law enforcement, with Sheriff Blackmon describing him as a "frequent flier to the sheriff's office" and a consistent threat in his community. "I can tell you he was a threat to that neighborhood all the time," Blackmon told, according to FOX News, alluding to numerous past encounters with Bojeh. Notably, Bojeh has a history of legal trouble, with a reported involvement in a 2021 shooting incident at a Kissimmee gas station, though he was later acquitted by reason of insanity. Following his arrest, he was booked into the Osceola County Jail and held without bond as the investigation into the triple murder continues.
