According to WOIO/Cleveland 19 News, Crime Stoppers of Cuyahoga County says the incident in which Evans allegedly ran toward a victim and tried to fire a gun at the victim's head happened in March 2025. WOIO reports that Evans is also accused in a separate domestic-violence case involving multiple counts of strangulation, and that a warrant was issued after he was found to have violated his monitoring conditions while awaiting trial.
Per Crime Stoppers of Cuyahoga County, Evans faces charges that include felonious assault with a firearm specification, having a weapon while under disability, and three counts of strangulation. The listing describes him as about 5-foot-7 and 115 pounds and says he was last known to be staying in the 3700 block of East 149th Street in Cleveland. Crime Stoppers also notes that Evans has active warrants in Shaker Heights and Lakewood for failure to appear in court.
