According to Cleveland 19 News, the first incident took place around 11:30 p.m. on Monday near the intersection of E. 71st Street and Indiana Avenue in the Slavic Village neighborhood. EMS reported that a man was seriously injured and transported to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment.
The second incident happened a couple of hours later, around 2 a.m. on Tuesday at E. 84th Street and Quincy Avenue in the Fairfax area. A 35-year-old man suffered critical injuries and was taken to University Hospitals, as Cleveland 19 News also details. Complicating the situation, a vehicle with an apparent gunshot victim inside was found crashed into a dumpster at about the same time in the 2400 block of E. 84th Street, which is mentioned in a report by FOX8 News.
WKYC reported that the victim from the earlier shooting was transported in critical condition, while the later victim was in stable condition.
