A 29-year-old woman from Detroit lost her life in Southfield on Thursday evening after being struck by a car. The incident occurred around 7:17 p.m. near Greenfield Road and Foster Winter Drive, south of Nine Mile Road. The Southfield Police Department stated that the woman was crossing Greenfield outside of a pedestrian crosswalk when the collision happened, The Detroit News reported.
First responders rushed the woman to the hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
