Dutch Bros Coffee is rolling into Brevard County with not one but two new drive-thru shops. The chain plans locations in both Titusville and Melbourne, with both slated to open by the end of this summer as part of its growing Central Florida push. The moves add to a recent wave of Dutch Bros openings across the region and are already on the radar of residents and local planners.
Where the shops will be
As reported by the Orlando Business Journal, Dutch Bros has confirmed sites in both Melbourne and Titusville and expects each to be up and running by the end of the summer. The outlet also notes that since March 2024, the company has opened about 10 locations across Central Florida as part of its broader eastward expansion.
Titusville site plan and neighborhood concerns
A site plan for a roughly 985-square-foot Dutch Bros at 4530 Hickory Hill Blvd has moved through administrative review, according to Talk of Titusville. Some nearby residents told the city they would rather see driveway access from U.S. 1/State Road 50 instead of Hickory Hill, arguing that a busy drive-thru could cause vehicle queues to spill onto a residential street, Citizen Portal reports. City staff said the proposal meets existing code but agreed to follow up with the developer on potential traffic-mitigation steps.
How this fits into Dutch Bros' growth
The Brevard projects are part of a much larger buildout. Dutch Bros marked its 1,000th U.S. shop in early 2025, according to a company release on Business Wire. A recent Hoodline report shows the chain opened more than 150 stores in 2025 and is aiming for a sizable jump in 2026 as it leans into drive-thru locations, targeting a large increase in 2026.
What to watch next
The Orlando Business Journal reports that both Brevard shops are expected to be open by the end of the summer, although exact opening dates and final site designs will depend on permitting and any adjustments worked out between the city and the developer. If the plans are approved and construction moves ahead as proposed, the Titusville and Melbourne spots will become the latest pieces in Dutch Bros' rapid Florida expansion and will likely raise local questions about traffic and staffing once ground breaks.
