White Label Cookies is going small on space and big on sugar in West Hollywood, with plans for a tiny walk-up cookie window on Santa Monica Boulevard. Husband-and-wife team Matt and Robyn Burnaford have leased a 125-square-foot spot at 8714 Santa Monica Blvd., Suite 110, and are aiming to open in April 2026. The menu is set to revolve around oversized, fudgy cookies that weigh in at about six ounces each, with three to four rotating flavors and a daily staple called the Salty Bottom.
Owners and opening timeline
The Burnafords first started selling cookies on Instagram in 2019, then hit a slowdown during COVID before deciding to move into a brick-and-mortar setup. "We decided we would take a chance, cash in our chips and open our own business," Matt told What Now Los Angeles. That outlet reports the couple is planning a walk-up model and targeting an April 2026 debut for the West Hollywood shop.
How do they bake them
According to the company's site, the dough is cold-fermented for 72 hours, baked hot and fast, then left to rest for at least two hours so the center stays fudgy. The White Label Cookies landing page lists the WeHo address, offers a simple sign-up form for updates on opening timing and menu details, and provides a contact email for press and wholesale inquiries.
Tiny shop on a busy strip
White Label is set to take over the former Pressed Juicery storefront at 8714 Santa Monica Boulevard, and a White Label sign has already gone up in the window, according to WEHO Times. The corner is near Dayglow Coffee and steady pedestrian traffic, which should give the walk-up window plenty of visibility to people passing by.
Where it fits in WeHo
The new window will slide into a stretch of Santa Monica Boulevard that already has a mix of dessert and grab-and-go options. Instead of building out a full cafe, the Burnafords are leaning on size and texture as their pitch, pairing big, fudgy cookies with face-to-face service through a small window in the middle of the neighborhood flow.
Menu and what to expect
Customers can expect three to four rotating cookie varieties each day, with the Salty Bottom on the menu daily, according to What Now Los Angeles. The Salty Bottom is described as a chocolate-chip cookie finished with sea salt on the bottom. Across the board, the Burnafords say they are going for cookies that are large and fudgy rather than thin and crisp, sold straight from the walk-up window instead of a sit-down counter.
What’s next
The pair say they plan to keep the operation intentionally small so they can balance work and family while building regulars in the neighborhood. The White Label Cookies site invites people to sign up for updates and lists a contact email, which the owners appear to be using to share more specific opening details as April 2026 gets closer.
