
Baltimore police are turning to the public to help put a name to a man caught on camera after an attempted robbery at a Harbor Bank branch in Northwood. The incident was reported last Tuesday at about 12:25 p.m., and detectives have opened a robbery case under CC# 2602007.
Police Release Photo, Ask For Tips
The Baltimore Police shared the suspect’s photo and a plea for help on X, urging anyone who recognizes the man to contact Metro Crime Stoppers for an anonymous tip, according to Baltimore Police. Detectives have classified the case as a robbery without a firearm.

Metro Crime Stoppers accepts anonymous tips by phone at 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), through the P3 Tips mobile app, or online at the group’s tip portal, Metro Crime Stoppers. The volunteer organization notes that tips leading to an arrest or charges may qualify for a cash reward of up to $2,000. Tipsters receive confidential code numbers so they can check back on the status of their information and any possible reward.
Where This Happened
The attempted robbery was reported at The Harbor Bank of Maryland’s Northwood branch at 1509 Havenwood Road, according to the bank’s branch listings. Harbor Bank lists the Northwood branch at that address. Local outlets have also noted recent ATM theft attempts near Havenwood Road, a pattern that has rattled nearby businesses and customers, as reported by WMAR2-News.
