Houston police are calling on the public to help track down two men accused in an aggravated robbery at a business in the 10300 block of Harwin Drive on Dec. 10. Detectives released surveillance images that show the pair walking into the store and then bolting on foot after one of them displayed a handgun. Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering up to $5,000 for tips that lead to an arrest.

What police released

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division posted still images and brief descriptions of the two suspects on X on Feb. 25, asking anyone who recognizes them to speak up. According to Houston Police Robbery on X, the holdup unfolded on Dec. 10 in the 10300 block of Harwin Drive, and both suspects took off on foot after the crime. Investigators say one of the men appeared to confront store staff while armed, and they released the images in hopes of shaking loose new leads.

Suspect descriptions

In the social media post, the department wrote, "WANTED: Robbery Detectives are seeking the identity of the suspect(s) wanted in an aggravated robbery," along with the surveillance stills. HPD described suspect No. 1 as a male wearing a two-tone gray hoodie with the hood up, a green shirt pulled up under his nose, gray pants, and light-colored shoes. Suspect No. 2 was described as a male with medium-length black hair, a red T-shirt under a gray hooded sweater with the hood down, gray pants, and black shoes.

Legal note

Under Texas law, aggravated robbery is robbery combined with certain aggravating factors such as causing serious bodily injury or using or exhibiting a deadly weapon. An offense under Texas Penal Code §29.03 is a first-degree felony, carrying potential penalties of five to 99 years in prison. If investigators conclude that a firearm was shown during the holdup, that is one factor prosecutors may rely on in pursuing an aggravated robbery charge.

Context

The Harwin Drive corridor has seen other violent incidents in recent years, and residents and business owners have repeatedly raised alarms about safety in parts of southwest Houston. Local reporting previously covered a Harwin Drive fatal shooting earlier in 2025. Police say community tips often make the difference in identifying suspects and closing cases like this one.
