Las Vegas is starting Sunday under clear skies, sitting at a crisp 54°F this morning with a high expected near 75°F this afternoon. Low humidity, light winds, and crystal-clear visibility add up to prime outdoor weather across the valley, so most plans can roll on without any weather drama.
Tonight stays mostly clear with a low near 48°F, and Monday follows with more sunshine and another warm high near 74°F. Temperatures should ease back into the low 70s by late afternoon and remain mild overnight. Winds are expected to stay mostly light through Monday.
Tuesday Cool-Down And Mountain Snow
Starting Tuesday, the pattern turns cooler and more unsettled, with showers and breezy southwest winds moving into the region. According to the National Weather Service, the best shot at wet weather is in the higher terrain. The Eastern Sierra could pick up as much as a foot of new snow above about 9,500 feet, while spots like Aspendell (around 8,400 feet) may see 4–6 inches. The Spring Mountains are expected to get only light snow, with about a 75% chance totals stay under an inch.
In the valley, southeast winds of 2–13 mph are possible Tuesday with gusts up to 18 mph. Along the lower Colorado River corridor, gusts could reach roughly 15–25 knots (about 17–29 mph) from late morning into mid-afternoon.
What This Means For You
Valley residents can count on mainly dry conditions through Monday, but anyone heading into the mountains Tuesday or Wednesday should bring a jacket and plan for potentially slick higher-elevation roads. Boaters and river users should keep an eye on conditions along the Colorado River and steer clear of small open craft if winds start kicking up.
Hoodline flagged this warm stretch earlier in the week; see springlike heat and river winds for background and river-wind context. We will update this post as the systems approach and more details become clear.
