Henderson’s St. Patrick’s Day Festival and Parade will turn the Water Street District shamrock green on March 13–15, filling downtown with bagpipes, carnival rides and a classic-car show. The free, three-day celebration features Celtic music, vendors and evening entertainment for both newcomers and longtime attendees.
The 58th annual festival is presented with the Southern Nevada Sons & Daughters of Erin and marks the 21st year on Water Street. City officials say the event drew more than 54,000 people in 2025, making it one of Nevada’s largest St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, according to the City of Henderson.
The weekend schedule is packed: a Clover Carnival opens Friday evening, the Shamrocks & Shenanigans parade rolls on Saturday with a 10 a.m. start, and the Classic Car Show takes over Sunday morning, local listings show. Parade entries and participant details were being collected through February, and organizers advise checking parade-entry pages for rules and deadlines, as reported by Eventeny.
What to expect
Festival programming includes live Celtic headliners, with the schedule naming Máiréad Nesbitt and Celtic Spells among performers, plus a Shamrock Shops market, family rides and a lineup of local food vendors. The weekend also features a St. Baldrick’s head-shaving fundraiser on Saturday, and the Sunday car show is presented in partnership with the Boulder City Cruisin' Association. Details and the full entertainment lineup are available from the Southern Nevada Sons & Daughters of Erin.
Plan your visit
Admission is free, but weekend crowds and street closures along Water Street can make parking and walking a bit of a puzzle. Event pages list nearby parking options and recommend arriving early. The festival footprint centers on the Water Street Plaza and adjacent blocks, and local venue listings include the plaza address and parking notes for visitors. Las Vegas PRIDE lists the Water Street Plaza location and timing reminders for attendees.
