According to a post from the Baltimore Police, detectives arrested Evans in reference to the shooting that occurred in the Western District on September 12, 2025. A Sept. 12 advisory on the department's website states that officers were dispatched that night to the 1900 block of Herbert Street after a ShotSpotter alert and found a 54-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and was listed in stable condition, according to the Baltimore Police Department.
