
Police are asking Brooklyn residents to help track down a group of people who attacked and robbed a 29-year-old man on Feb. 13, making off with $150 after a brief but violent confrontation on Glenwood Road. Investigators say the victim was approached in the early evening, punched several times in the face and robbed before the assailants took off. No arrests have been announced.
The NYPD Crime Stoppers account shared a wanted alert on March 10 that lays out the basics: the robbery happened at about 5:25 p.m., involved multiple unidentified people, and began with a demand for cash. The crew then allegedly struck the victim in the face and bolted with $150. The post notes the victim is a 29-year-old man and that anyone who helps detectives make an arrest could be in line for a reward of up to $3,500.

The 9700 block of Glenwood Road is listed in the Brooklyn street finder as part of ZIP code 11236, placing the scene in eastern Brooklyn. The Brooklyn Board of Elections document shows the 9700–9798 range on Glenwood Road in that ZIP code, matching the address range given in the NYPD Crime Stoppers alert.

Anyone with information is urged to contact NYPD Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or, for Spanish speakers, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). Tips can also be submitted online through the NYPD Crime Stoppers channels, which the department highlights for anonymous submissions and additional options.
Detectives have not released any suspect names and say no arrests have been made. The wanted alert includes surveillance images and specifically asks anyone who recognizes the individuals, or who has video or eyewitness information from the area, to contact the hotline. According to the alert, tipsters whose information leads to an arrest may receive up to $3,500, and tips can also be submitted online via the Crime Stoppers portal.
