Emergency response and probe

According to the Long Beach Post, firefighter Keith Navarre told City News Service that the Los Angeles County Fire Department sent both a truck and an ambulance to the intersection. The truck stayed on scene "for body recovery" and the ambulance did not transport anyone. Signal Hill police are leading the investigation and have not yet released further information about the crash or the person who was killed.
