A routine day at a North Las Vegas pet store turned chaotic on Monday when a car crashed straight through the shop’s front wall, a jarring scene caught on surveillance video. The footage, recorded from inside the business, shows the vehicle bursting through the entrance and sending merchandise, customers and their dogs flying out of position in a cloud of debris and confusion.
According to FOX5, the owner of All About Paws shared the clip with the station and said the collision "appears to have been an accident." She also told the outlet she has been "touched by the outpouring of support" from the community since the incident, which FOX5 published on March 2, 2026.
All About Paws, a family-run pet supply and grooming shop, highlights self-serve dog-wash stations, grooming services and natural pet foods on its website. In the video, customers can be seen ducking for cover and yanking leashes to pull their animals away from the crash zone while staff quickly move to secure pets in the store. More details about the business and its offerings are available on the shop’s website at All About Paws.
Storefront crashes and prevention
Advocacy groups and insurers say vehicle-into-building crashes happen far more often than most people think. The Storefront Safety Council, whose data was reviewed by Lloyd's of London, estimates that such incidents occur more than 100 times per day nationwide and that many of them lead to injuries. The group and industry experts recommend physical protections such as bollards or reinforced entryways to help reduce the risk. In response, some states and insurers have started encouraging or incentivizing those upgrades as a way to limit damage and liability.
Investigation, injuries and next steps
FOX5's report did not include a statement from police, any information on injuries or mention of arrests tied to the crash. In similar cases, investigators typically look at factors such as the driver’s condition, the vehicle’s performance and the site’s layout and security. The All About Paws owner told FOX5 she has been moved by supportive messages from customers and neighbors and is currently reviewing the damage and figuring out what comes next for the store.
