CAVA, the fast-casual Mediterranean chain, is bringing its bowls and pitas to League City, with a new restaurant set to open this spring on the Gulf Freeway just off I-45. The company has pegged the debut for spring 2026 and says the spot will deliver its customizable bowls, pitas and made-in-house dips to the Bay Area corridor. Fans can look for the same build-your-own format that has packed lines at other Texas openings.
Opening details
In a statement to Community Impact, CAVA publicist Emma Vogt confirmed the League City store and said, "We ... look forward to welcoming the League City community to our table." The report lists the planned address as 2915 Gulf Freeway S. and gives the opening window as spring 2026.
What to expect
The menu centers on customizable greens-and-grains bowls and pita wraps with proteins such as lamb, falafel, chicken and steak, along with sides like hummus, rice, lentils and pita crisps, per CAVA's menu. Those build-your-own options and signature dips have been a key part of the brand's rollout in new markets.
How it fits CAVA's expansion
According to CAVA's investor release, the company opened 72 net new restaurants in fiscal 2025, bringing its system to 439 locations. That release and prior CAVA announcements also describe pre-opening Community Day events and note that new restaurants often employ roughly 25 to 40 local team members.
Local context
The League City spot will add to CAVA's Houston-area footprint, with the brand already listing a nearby Baybrook/Webster location, per CAVA's locations page. The move comes as League City continues to see residential and retail growth in the Bay Area corridor, according to reporting by the Houston Chronicle.
CAVA has offered only a spring 2026 timeframe so far. For an exact opening date and details about hiring or Community Day events, CAVA or local outlets are expected to post updates closer to the launch, per Community Impact.
