
A Center Line man is in custody after police say he shot and killed his wife yesterday, then briefly slipped away on foot before officers tracked him down in neighboring Warren.
The shooting happened on Sterling Street around 6 p.m., where witnesses told police the suspect took off on foot after the gunfire. According to Metro Detroit News, Warren officers later spotted the man and arrested him near 10 Mile Road and Hoover following a short manhunt.
