
An early-morning crash in Midtown Detroit left three people dead and a fourth critically injured today, after a passenger vehicle and a semi-truck collided near Little Caesars Arena.
The wreck happened around 1:30 a.m. near Cass Avenue and Sproat Street, just blocks from the arena. Authorities have not released the names of the victims or any identifying details.
According to Metro Detroit News, three adults were pronounced dead at the scene, while a fourth adult was rushed to a hospital in critical condition. That outlet reports that sources described the victims as young and that investigators shared few specifics as the probe got underway. The crash was placed near the I-75 and Woodward interchange in Detroit's arena district.
