A violent armed robbery in Hanover-Horton on Feb. 24 has now led to four arrests across Jackson County, with two more suspects still on the loose, according to local authorities.

Deputies said the takedowns were the result of a targeted operation this week that played out across the county, relying on coordinated traffic stops and search warrants to track down the alleged crew.

Arrests and Charges

Three adults and a 16-year-old boy were arrested in connection with the case, authorities said.

Deputies arrested Camerin Hudson at a Sycamore Street residence in Blackman Township and took Kaiden Miguel Hudson into custody at a home on Orange Street in the city of Jackson. A third adult, Xzavier Andre Bacon, was arrested during a traffic stop on Washington Avenue. The 16-year-old was also taken into custody somewhere in Jackson County, officials said.

According to officials, each of the four was arraigned on one felony count of armed robbery, one count of larceny from a building, and one count of larceny of firearms. Bond for each defendant was set at 250,000 dollars.

Two additional suspects remain wanted in the case. Anyone with information has been asked to contact the Jackson County Sheriff's Office or Lead Detective Kelley Ebersole at 517-768-7932, as reported by MLive.

Sheriff Praises Operation

Jackson County Sheriff Gary Schuette credited the coordinated effort for the quick arrests.

"This successful operation is a testament to the fact that when a strategic plan is executed with precision, results follow," Schuette said, according to MLive.

Sheriff's officials said the work involved search warrants and traffic stops across Blackman Township and the city of Jackson, all focused on locating suspects allegedly tied to the Feb. 24 robbery.

How to Help and Safety Tips

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office lists its headquarters at 212 W. Wesley Street in Jackson and a non-emergency number of 517-768-7925. Residents have been urged not to approach anyone they believe may be involved in this investigation.

If you think you see one of the wanted suspects, officials say you should call 911 immediately or contact the sheriff's office with tips. The county's public website provides general contact information and resources related to ongoing investigations.

Legal Next Steps

The four people arrested face multiple felony counts and will move through the Jackson County court system as prosecutors file formal charges and set future court dates.

All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in court. Investigators may seek additional charges as the case develops, and officials could release more information, including the names of the two remaining suspects, as the investigation continues.

Updates will be provided if prosecutors file new charges or when authorities release additional details on the suspects still at large.
