According to the Morning Journal, the shop will jump straight back into its normal schedule on Wednesday, keeping its usual hours of 4 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 3 to 9 p.m. on Sundays. The outlet notes that Rosie's has been closed since Dec. 25, 2025, while Lute recovered, and that he received an outpouring of supportive messages online during his long layoff.
Owner Recovering After Christmas-Day Crash
Lute, 55, told the Morning Journal he was airlifted to Cleveland following the Dec. 25 collision and ended up with 11 broken bones, including serious injuries to his neck and pelvis. He said his neck brace came off March 5 and described himself as "lucky to be alive" as he carefully works his way back into the kitchen routine.

The pizzeria's roots stretch back to the 1950s, when founder Rose Brest opened the business, and it shifted to the current Broadway Avenue location in the 1960s.
