Sky Bear Brewery & Pub is not leaving downtown Loveland so much as spreading out in it. The family-run spot is shifting a short walk down the block to a larger storefront that owners say will pack in more outdoor patios and an upstairs events room for bigger crowds, with a target opening in the new space by fall 2026.
Family-run brewpub and what they serve
Sky Bear launched in 2022 and is run by Amanda Kissel alongside her parents, Mark and Linda, according to BizWest. The Cleveland Station taproom brews its beer on-site and pairs the lineup with pub staples like pizza, quesadillas and sandwiches, per Sky Bear Brewery.
New 4th Street space and timeline
The business is relocating to 209 E. 4th St., roughly a two-minute walk from its current location, and the new layout will include a back patio, two front patios and an upstairs space that can hold more than 100 people, as reported by WhatNow. Commercial listings for 209 E. 4th St. describe a historic two-story building with street-level retail and a sizeable second-floor deck that lines up with the brewery’s expansion plans, per LoopNet.
What it means for downtown Loveland
The move keeps Sky Bear in the heart of downtown, among a cluster of small breweries and taprooms that have helped turn 4th Street into a nightlife draw, according to Visit Loveland. A larger footprint with multiple patios and an upstairs event room could let the brewery host bigger shows and slot into downtown’s growing calendar of beer nights and festivals, a trend local coverage has highlighted via Retro 102.5.
Sky Bear has not announced a firm opening date for the new location but told WhatNow it hopes to debut the expanded spot by fall 2026. The brewery says it will share updates on its website and social channels, and customers can check Sky Bear Brewery for details.
