The Los Angeles Fire Department sent first responders to the school on Avenue 54 at about 12:30 p.m., with at least one rescue ambulance on scene. Officials said the patient refused transport to a hospital, and the Los Angeles Police Department was called in to assist the Los Angeles School Police Department.
According to NBC Los Angeles, LAFD units arrived at the campus around 12:30 p.m. and paramedics staged nearby while school police investigated. The outlet reported that no one was transported after the patient declined care and that there were no immediate details released about any arrests or a possible motive. LAPD received a request to support the Los Angeles School Police Department, according to the station.
