
Monday evening’s commute in Ozone Park turned violent when a 47-year-old woman was stabbed aboard an A train as it pulled into the Rockaway Boulevard station in Queens, according to police. A 56-year-old man who tried to step in and help was slashed on the finger. He declined medical attention at the scene, while the woman was taken to a hospital for treatment.
As reported by PIX11, the attack happened on March 2. Law enforcement sources told the outlet the woman suffered stab wounds to her back, and the man who intervened sustained a cut to his finger. As of that report, police had not announced any arrests in connection with the assault.
