Cookie Plug, the street-style cookie chain known for its oversized "thicc" cookies, is bringing its gooey lineup to West Chester’s Bradford Plaza, with a grand opening set for Saturday, March 28 at 11 a.m. The new outpost is promising big, soft-baked cookies, ice-cream cookie sandwiches and late-night hours aimed at turning Chester County into a full-on dessert destination.
According to Cookie Plug, the West Chester shop’s doors will officially open Saturday, March 28 at 11 a.m. The site lists hours of 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and includes a phone number for preorders and events for anyone planning parties, office runs or late-night cookie drops.
Franchise owner and local growth
Franchise owner Khaled Salem, who already runs Cookie Plug’s Media location, told What Now Philadelphia that “West Chester has great vibes and population” and that the town felt “a nice fit” for the concept. The West Chester shop will be the third Cookie Plug in the region and part of the brand’s ongoing push across the greater Philadelphia area.
What they’ll sell
The chain’s signature “thick stack” cookies, billed as part cake, part brownie and part cookie, will headline a 12-cookie rotating menu with a monthly “secret stash” flavor, plus ice-cream sandwiches and keto options, per Cookie Plug. Classic picks like an O.G. chocolate chip will sit alongside more adventurous flavors, and cookie cakes will be available for events.
Where in town
The shop is joining a mix of national and local tenants at Bradford Plaza, which lists Cookie Plug as a leased unit alongside anchor Giant Food and other services in its leasing materials. Levin Management shows the center at Downingtown Pike and provides a site map that includes the new cookie spot.
How it fits the local scene
Cookie Plug is stepping into an already lively West Chester dessert scene that features local favorites such as Cookie Dope on South High Street. Several downtown bakeries and student-focused dessert bars help make the borough a surprisingly competitive late-night dessert market.
Local coverage has highlighted discounts and giveaways for opening day, as reported by Vista, and the brand has been posting additional details on its West Chester listing in the run-up to the launch. Neighbors say the Bradford Plaza outpost is likely to become a regular stop for sweet cravings across the borough once the doors open.
