Joy Burgers, a local favorite known for stacked, over-the-top cheeseburgers, quietly flipped the lights on at a second Las Vegas location Monday on West Washington Avenue near North Buffalo Drive. The new outpost joins the brand's stall inside Meadows Mall and brings its layered patties, onion rings and milkshakes to the west side, nudging the operation beyond its mall footprint and into a standalone neighborhood storefront.
New West-Side Outpost
As reported by Las Vegas Review-Journal, the new Joy Burgers storefront opened Monday at 7595 W. Washington Ave., Suite 110. The piece puts the shop near the intersection of West Washington and North Buffalo Drive and notes the brand's growing local profile, with Review-Journal photographer Bizuayehu Tesfaye capturing the exterior of the fresh west-side space.
From Mall Stand To Streetfront
The brand first reappeared inside Meadows Mall last year as part of a comeback that reignited local interest, What Now Las Vegas reports. Owner Hector Garcia told the outlet the Meadows Mall spot was just the start and that more openings were being planned, while the shop's Instagram teased followers to “stay tuned,” hinting that the burger playbook was far from finished.
Menu Staples
The menu sticks to the big, stacked burgers fans come for, with items like the Signature, a Black Angus patty with bacon, Swiss, an onion ring and chipotle sauce, the blue-cheese-topped "Blue One," and a double smash option, along with a chicken club, wings, loaded fries and milkshakes, Las Vegas Review-Journal reports. Service runs fast casual and is aimed squarely at takeout orders and neighborhood foot traffic.
Why It Matters
The expansion puts Joy Burgers closer to the neighborhoods that helped buoy the business after a viral TikTok review by food critic Keith Lee in late 2023, which Bon Appétit says gave the shop a national audience and a big bump in followers. The move also fits a local pattern of popular burger concepts opening second outposts as demand for casual, craveable dining grows across the valley, a trend visible in previous Las Vegas expansions reported by Eater Vegas.
