NYPD Releases Video, Seeks Tips
According to a Facebook post by NYPD Crime Stoppers, the wanted bulletin includes surveillance stills and a short reel that shows the pair riding up on bicycles and then leaving the scene. The NYPD's Crime Stoppers page lists 1-800-577-TIPS and an online portal for anonymous tips.
170th Street Corridor Has Seen Similar Attacks
The stickup adds to a string of robberies around the 170th Street corridor this winter, with local reporting noting previous wanted alerts for attacks on nearby blocks. Coverage described as a daylight beatdown on East 170th details earlier incidents in which suspects grabbed phones and other valuables in broad daylight, underscoring detectives' appeals for video and witnesses.
Anyone with cellphone video, door-cam footage or other information is asked to preserve it and contact Crime Stoppers via the department's tip page at NYC.gov or send a DM to @NYPDTips. If someone is in immediate danger, call 911; otherwise, tips can be submitted anonymously and may qualify for a reward under the NYPD Crime Stoppers program.
