On Sunday, a stretch of Old Ranch Court turned into a crime scene when Columbus police say a man was shot in the leg just about a block from Westland High School. Investigators say the wounded man managed to drive himself to a hospital, where officers later caught up with him. There, he reportedly identified the shooter as David Faison, who was arrested and charged with felonious assault.
Arrest and charges
According to WSYX, officers were called out on Sunday on reports of gunfire along Old Ranch Court. When they arrived, they learned a man had already taken off for the hospital after being shot in the leg. Police later interviewed the victim at the hospital, where he identified the alleged shooter as Faison. Officers then took Faison into custody and booked him on a felonious assault charge.
