
A Columbia gas station worker was shot and seriously wounded Friday night during an attempted robbery at a station in the 7200 block of Cradlerock Way. Responding officers found the employee suffering from a gunshot wound and had the victim rushed to the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center with serious injuries. Investigators say a single suspect fired during the attempted hold-up and then took off. No other injuries were reported.
